Two drunk girls in Gucci shoes are caught on video trying to make themselves dumplings in a closed NYC Chinese restaurant after power cut caused the doors to unlock after midnight

Two drunk young women have been caught on surveillance video trying to make themselves dumplings in a closed Chinese restaurant after a power outage caused the doors to unlock in the middle of the night.

The women, one of which bemoaned that she was in Gucci shoes, were allegedly busted trespassing inside a Xi'an Famous Foods in New York City at about 12.30am on Sunday.

In the video that was posted online by owner Jason Wang, the women can be heard asking each other if they were trespassing and later saying: 'I'm going to steal these dumplings'.

Xi'an, which is family-run business founded by Wang, has eight locations in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens.

It is not clear which location the young women were inside.

The owner posted the video online late Sunday and urged the two women to come forward to pay for the bag of dumplings and other items they allegedly ended up stealing from the store.

He vowed not involve police if they came forward to fix their 'momentary lapse in judgement and sobriety'.

According to Wang, the women gained entry to the store after its electronic lock disengaged due to a temporary power failure.

The video shows the two women walking into the dark kitchen and rifling through the freezers.

One of the women can be heard saying she was going to make herself some noodles before the other found a bag of frozen dumplings.

As one of the women fiddled with the kitchen appliances, the other woman could be heard standing out near the front of the store watching out for any people passing by.

'Are we going to get in trouble,' the woman out the front could be heard saying.

The woman in the kitchen responded: 'I mean they should have locked it, so no.'

When the woman out front asked why the floor was slippery, the one in the kitchen said it must be the oil the store cooks with.

It prompted the woman out front to complain her new sneakers would be ruined.

'B***h I'm in Gucci shoes,' the woman in the kitchen responded.

The two women could be seen leaving the store after about five minutes. The one in the kitchen appeared to stash the bag of dumplings and another item in her bag before leaving.

Wang, the owner, said they discovered the video after staff spotted rogue dumplings scattered throughout the kitchen the following day.

'We noticed some food scattered around the kitchen (a couple of uncooked dumplings strangely dropped into the cooker, and a bun floating in water). Staff were puzzled, as everything was properly cleaned and closed the night before,' he wrote on Facebook.

'So, two trespassers came in and started trying to cook dumplings (inexplicably, in cold water). While we can respect that one has cravings for our food late at night, it is still trespassing, and it's really not OK for you to feel so entitled to be able to waltz into a commercial kitchen (even if the door was unlocked, it's still closed) and start fumbling with equipment and food.

'It's not legal, it's not safe for our guests or even yourselves. Yes, the food is just too good to pass up, it's like having a golden ticket to the XFF safe, but, no, don't.'
