A U.S. soldier was found unresponsive at Camp Arifjan in Kuwait on Wednesday, just nine days after another soldier at the base died during routine troop movement.

The Army Central Command shared news of the soldier's death but did not identify the soldier, as they are waiting until 24 hours after the next-of-kin is notified.

'We send our heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased,' they said in a statement, the Army Times reports.
