'Armed' felon with 'CONVICT' inked across his chest and swastika tattoo on his neck is wanted for assault after police chase
Authorities in North Carolina are hunting for a felon with the words 'convict' and 'devil' tattooed on his body in connection to an assault and a chase.
Just before 5pm on Wednesday, deputies from the Davidson County Sheriff's Office responded to an assault call on Cabin Creek Road near Denton.
According to officials, Diehl had assaulted someone and fired a gun at them, then got in a car with two other people and took off.

The victim called 911 and summoned the deputies, who were able to track down the getaway car and attempted to pull it over, reported Fox8.
The driver refused to stop and led the officers on a brief chase, which crossed into Randolph County and came to an end when the vehicle crashed in a yard on Gopher Woods Road.
According to the sheriff's office, Diehl then jumped out of the car and fled on foot. Witnesses reported seeing a pistol in a holster on Diehl's belt.
He was last seen running near Moore Road. State troopers used a helicopter to search for the fugitive but could not locate him.
Diehl is wanted on charges of assault, felony fleeing to elude arrest and resting, obstructing and delaying.

Photos posted on his social media account show his extensive body art, including a skull with the word 'devil' etched across the top of his bald head, two large swastikas in the middle of his throat and on his right shoulder, and the word 'CONVICT' in capital letters emblazoned over his collarbones.
People who encounter Diehl are warned not to approach him. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is being asked to call 911.
