A pet husky in China has landed himself in trouble after tearing up the cushions of his owner's sofa while she was out.
In a trending video, the two-year-old dog named 'Pea' is seen greeting his owner while surrounded by piles of ripped couch cushions, seemingly unaware that he had gotten into trouble.
The pet owner told MailOnline that she 'nearly had a mental breakdown' after finding her living room completely destroyed upon returning to her flat in south-western Chinese city Chongqing yesterday.

The incident came to light after the frustrated pet owner shared the footage Tuesday on Douyin, the Chinese equivalent of TikTok.
She wrote in a post: 'I want to ask, if you have a dog like this, how do you feel right now?'
In the 18-second clip, the naughty husky can be seen sitting in the woman's wrecked living room with scattered pieces of sofa cushions.
Pea also ripped apart bags of dog food before tossing it around the floor.

Shocked by what she had come home to, the woman can be heard shouting with frustration.
But her canine appeared to unaware that he had landed himself in trouble as he wagged his tail and even had a little stretch.
'I nearly had a mental breakdown,' the pet owner, who wishes to remain anonymous, told MailOnline. 'I didn't know what else I could feel.'
Pea might have annoyed his owner but the footage has amused many social media users.
One viewer wrote: 'Look how pleased he was with himself!'
Another commenter joked: 'He seemed so calm and unbothered, even had a little stretch.'
Netizens might find the husky's behaviour entertaining, but animal experts explain that dogs use destructive chewing to combat boredom and relieve anxiety.
According to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, such behaviour can be caused by a number of reasons.
For young dogs, it's a way to relieve pain that might be caused by incoming teeth. For older dogs, it's nature's way of keeping jaws strong and teeth clean.
But some dogs would also start chewing simply because they do not get enough physical and mental stimulation.
Although chewing is perfectly normal for dogs of all ages, they need to be taught in a gentle manner about what are their toys.
