The daredevils, who had been enjoying a day out at the park, were stuck for more than three hours before San Antonio Fire Department crews managed to safely return them to solid ground with the help of a cherry picker.
No injuries were reported due to the incident.
SeaWorld officials have not confirmed what caused the roller-coaster to stop mid-ride but insisted safety is of paramount importance.
'Consistent with our established safety protocols we worked with the San Antonio Fire Department to safely evacuate all guests on the ride,' the theme park said in a statement.
'We apologize for the guest inconvenience. The safety of our employees and guests is our top priority.'
The roller coaster first opened in June 2017 in the park, making it the park's newest thrill ride, according to the SeaWorld website.
