Putin's 'love child daughter', 17, says she dreams of living in London or New York as Kremlin braces itself for new allegations over Russian leader's private life

A 17-year-old girl claimed to be Vladimir Putin's secret love child has said she dreams of living in London or New York.

Her alleged unmasking this week comes as the Kremlin admits it is braced for further allegations about the Russian leader's private life.

There is already shock in Moscow at a sudden spate of recent 'disclosures' over women in his life and his health amid claims he has become the victim of leaks from his once-loyal inner circle.

Until now, the media in Russia has obeyed divorcee Putin's edict that 'I have a private life in which I do not permit interference. It must be respected.'

School graduate Elizaveta Krivonogikh, 17, was named this week as Putin's secret daughter by Russian investigative media outlet Proekt, or Project, and muzzed pictures of the girl have been shared in Russian media outlets.

Her mother Svetlana Krivonogikh, 45, is alleged to have had an affair with Putin covering the period he was head of the FSB counterintelligence service, prime minister, and during his first term as Russian president, when her daughter was conceived.

Neither Elizaveta, born in 2003, nor her mother - a shareholder in a major Russian bank who also owns elite property and a St Petersburg erotic nightspot, giving her a $102 million fortune - has commented on the claims, which were attacked by the Kremlin.

On social media where she suggests she is 18 rather than 17, the alleged Putin daughter had earlier replied 'London would be great' when asked where in the world she would like to live.

Asked the same question on a separate occasion, she replied: 'Hogwarts. On Mars. In Narnia. In Japan. In London. In New York.'

Asked what annoyed her, she replied: 'Lies... and when there is no mutual respect, trust and support.

'I get p***ed off for a few minutes, and conclusions are drawn by themselves and to the end.'

On the kind of people she respects, she replied: 'Honest, probably.'

She told of her liking for the 'awesomely unusual baritone' of Moby, US singer Richard Melville Hall, whose music 'is sometimes very close to me in mood'.

Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov claimed the Russian media report was 'provocative yellow journalism - it doesn't look like serious material.'

The allegations were 'not very convincing' and 'de facto unfounded', a claim echoed by supporters who said no hard documentary evidence had been disclosed.

But Peskov made clear further allegations on Putin's private life are now expected by the Kremlin.

'Clearly, new materials will appear, and so on, we know that,' he said.

'And there is nothing special in it, and nothing deserves any comment.'

Proekt had cited an expert at Bradford University as providing evidence that pictures of Elizaveta bear 'a phenomenal resemblance to the Russian president'.

Face-recognition software allegedly showed a 70.44 percent similarity with Putin, said Hassan Ugail, head of the university's Centre for Visual Computing.

The claim about a secret Putin daughter comes amid an unprecedented flow of allegations on his private life coinciding with speculation that he has health problems and may seek an early exit from the Kremlin.

This week also saw a 'leak' that his current supposed partner, glamorous Olympic gymnast Alina Kabaeva, 37, earns a salary of £7.78 million from her role heading a pro-Putin media group.

He was first romantically linked to the sportswoman in 2008, and there have been repeated claims, denied by the Kremlin, that they have a secret family.

There have been unsubstantiated claims, too, that Putin is suffering from cancer and Parkinson's Disease.

Two professors Valery Solovei and Nikita Krichevsky have claimed sources say the Russian president is set to announce he will retire due to health issues under pressure from his family and most trusted friends.

Major and General Telegram channel suggested the 'extensive (and scandalous) material about the personal life of the Russian president' was unprecedented.

It predicted this presaged 'hot' political changes.

This month new rules have been rushed through the Russian parliament enabling Putin to become a senator for life with immunity from prosecution whenever he stands down as president.

Political analyst Sergey Obukhov said: 'Experts are speculating over versions about who and what is behind such a massive 'leak' on both the president's personal life and in his state of health.'

Nezygar channel – seen as having insider sources in the Russian government - has suggested Russia 'is on the verge of a powerful crisis' with Putin suddenly weakened.

Yet this week the president, 68, defied health concerns with a rare pandemic trip outside Moscow in which he appeared in Sarov without a mask, shaking hands with a welcoming party.

Vladimir Milov - a former Putin minister, now a supporter of leading Kremlin foe Alexei Navalny who in August was poisoned with a chemical nerve agent Novichok - said on the Navalny Live youtube channel that Elizaveta resembles the strongman 'like two drops of water'.

'In general this is their personal affair, although Putin - who promotes himself as a defender of traditional values …. has many different 'wives' oriental-style,' he said.

'And many children from them. I don't know, maybe in Asia they consider as traditional values.

'But still, for European families this is not quite right. Anyway, this is his private life, his 'wives', his children….'

The elite 'simply stole all and everything for themselves, their wives and mistresses', he alleged.

Putin's only two confirmed children are two adult daughters Maria, 35, and Katerina, 34, from his marriage to former Kremlin first lady Lyudmila Putina.

The couple divorced in 2013.
