Ex On The Beach star James Moore has been charged with possessing 83 indecent images of a child and extreme animal porn involving dogs, pigs and fish. 

The reality star, 29, from Blackpool, Lancashire, has been accused of a string of sex and drug offences including possession of cocaine and cannabis. 

Moore, who appeared on series four of the MTV show in 2016, is set to appear at Preston Crown Court on January 22.

The joiner has been accused of possessing 83 indecent images of a child with 28 in the highest Category A, according to The Sun. 

Moore is also charged with disclosing a private sexual photograph and distributing indecent images of a child. 

The 29-year-old, known as Jimmy, appeared before Blackpool Magistrates' Court on Tuesday 24, was granted bail and did not enter any pleas.

The MTV reality show features eight single men and women who head to an island before their ex turns up. 

Moore appeared on Ex On The Beach, filmed in Portugal, alongside ex-girlfriends Olivia Walsh and Kristina Metcalf.

Olivia went out with Moore for two years before the show after which he arrived on the MTV programme to act as her ex-boyfriend, causing mass devastation in the process. 

He was scolded by co-star Lewis Good, with whom he later had a physical fight, for disrespecting Olivia with foul language and later left her heartbroken when he became romantically involved with Geordie Shore star Scotty T's ex Ashleigh Defty.
