Jury unable to reach a verdict in the rape trial of Jack de Belin and Callan Sinclair after two days of deliberations

The jury in the rape trial of Jack de Belin have been unable to reach a verdict after two days of deliberations. 

The NRL star and his co-accused Callan Sinclair pleaded not guilty to raping a 19-year-old woman a Wollongong apartment in 2018.

After retiring on Thursday afternoon, the jury returned to court on Monday morning with a note that 'we have unable to reach a unanimous verdict'.
