Desperate search for missing girl, 16, who vanished wearing an anime T-shirt more than 36 hours ago

Queensland Police are desperately searching for a 16-year-old girl who vanished wearing an anime T-shirt more than 36 hours ago.

The teenage girl was last seen wearing a blue anime t-shirt and cargo shorts at an address on Jupiter Street, Springfield Lakes in Ipswich on Saturday at 10am.

The girl has no phone or money with her and it is out of character for her to simply disappear, so police and family are worried for her welfare.

The girl is described as Asian, about 155cm tall, of slim to medium build, with black hair and brown eyes.   

Anyone who has seen the girl or has information is urged to contact police by calling CrimeStoppers on 1800 333 000.
