Heartbroken family and friends have paid tribute to student pilot Shipra Sharma and instructor Saket Kapoor after the pair were killed in a horror plane crash.
Ms Sharma and Mr Kapoor had taken off in a light aircraft from Orange Regional Airport, in New South Wales, at 7.30am on Wednesday.
Police say the pair were practising a 'touch and go' landing before the aircraft crashed at a Carcoar property, about 50 kilometres away from Orange.
They were killed instantly and investigations into the crash by police and The Australian Transport Safety Bureau is ongoing.
Sakib Chowdhury took to Facebook to pay tribute to his former teacher Mr Kapoor.

Ms Sharma and Mr Kapoor had taken off in a light aircraft from Orange Regional Airport, in New South Wales, at 7.30am on Wednesday
'Highly competent, accomplished and humble,' he wrote.
'He will always be in our memories and will always be remembered as we take to the skies.'
Mr Chowdury called Mr Kapoor the 'coolest senior pilot' and said the pair had 'almost 30 hours flying time together'.
Former student Shaymaa Abdullah told Dubbo News Mr Kapoor was a 'great instructor'.
'The aviation community is small and a lot of students both past and present are saddened by this news.
'It has impacted a lot of us who knew him. Some of his work colleagues have travelled to the crash site.'
Mr Kapoor and Ms Sharma were both from Sydney and had travelled to Orange for the lesson.
Police and aviation authorities will spend the next few days sifting through the wreckage to determine the cause of the crash.
