Mystery as beloved grandmother seen wandering a regional road in the middle of the night goes missing after family feared she had 'isolating herself' during Victoria's tough coronavirus lockdown
Mystery surrounds the disappearance of a Victorian grandmother who was last seen walking along a regional road at 1.40am after family feared she 'isolated herself' during lockdown.
Susan Shaw, 67, was seen about 4km up Mount Donna Buang Road in the Yarra Valley by police who pulled over to ask if she was okay.
Ms Shaw, an avid lover of the outdoors, insisted to officers that she was fine and was simply out for a walk.

Ms Shaw's son Kane Cashmore and Victoria Police are concerned for her wellbeing, and are appealing to the public to find her.
Mr Cashmore told news.com.au that his mother spent Thursday out walking with her grandkids before having dinner at about 5pm.
'I was making sure she was having dinner because she hadn't been eating properly. She'd been isolating herself a bit too much lately,' he said.
Mr Cashmore said his mother found it hard to cope with Victoria's strict stage four lockdown, which ended last month, and had become disconnected from friends.
Police said it is out of character for Ms Shaw to disappear, and revealed she did not take her phone with her.
She was wearing jeans, a green cardigan and bright pink boots when she went missing.
Senior sergeant Paul Anderson said the grandmother was an 'outdoors person,' but holds grave concerns over the recent hot weather and terrain of the bush.
'We're just asking for anybody who is out and about in the Warburton area, the Mount Donna Buang area, to just keep a lookout for Susan,' he said.
Anyone who has seen Ms Shaw or has further information is urged to call Warburton Police Station.
