Husband is accused of failing to report his partner's death and burying her body in a shallow grave on their property
An elderly man allegedly failed to report his partner's death before burying her body on their rural property.
The 69-year-old's wife died in August but police allege he did not report her death to authorities and buried her body on their property in the small rural town of Cranbrook on Tasmania's east coast shortly after.
Tasmanian Police were tipped off and searched the man's property on Tuesday and Wednesday before discovering the woman's decomposing body in a grave.
