Players and staff were ordered to go to the airport immediately and there was no time for Hunt to move his car.
After completing the rest of the AFL season in Queensland, Hunt finally made his way back to Melbourne in the first time in five months as the borders reopened.
On Thursday, he arrived at the MCG and posted a poll to his Instagram asking his followers they think his car would start after sitting untouched for five months.

'Well, it wasn't easy but the old gal pulls through,' he wrote.
