An ex-husband reportedly shot and killed his pregnant former wife, 28, and her boyfriend, 35, in front of the woman's two children and dozens of others, at a soccer tournament in Harris County, before taking his own life, authorities said.
The gunman approached the couple - whose names have not been released - around 10am in the parking lot of the Matias Almeyda Training Center facility in Texas, Sunday, according to police.
When deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office arrived on scene, they discovered the 35-year-old man dead and the 28-year-old woman critically wounded.

Authorities immediately rushed the woman to the hospital, where she and her unborn child were pronounced dead, Sgt Ben Beall told The Houston Chronicle.
The woman’s family identified the suspected gunman at the soccer field as the woman's ex-husband.
He reportedly shot the woman before fleeing the scene, according to a statement tweeted out by Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.

About two hours later, deputies later discovered the man at a Greater Inwood residence, dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, Srgt Beall told the Houston Chronicle.
According to authorities, the gunman allegedly texted relatives of his plans to planned to kill himself.
Investigators said more than 100 people were at the facility at the time of the shooting, including dozens of teenagers.
