Fitness First, KFC and an Italian restaurant are among new Covid exposure sites in Sydney with EVERYONE at a swim school plunged into 14-day isolation - here's the full list

Thirteen new Covid exposure sites have been added to Sydney's growing list, including a busy KFC, a packed gym and an entire kid's swim school.

The lasted venues flagged by New South Wales Health are scattered right across the Harbour City from the Covid-ravaged east where the outbreak began, to the city, inner west and western suburbs.

It comes as the state recorded 24 new locally-acquired cases on Thursday, bringing Sydney's Bondi cluster to 195 with several more unlinked infections.

Latest NSW Covid exposure sites 

Anyone who attended any of the following venues at the times listed is a close contact and must immediately get tested and isolate for 14 days, regardless of the result. 

Earlwood: Nieo's Grille. 212-214 William Street. Friday June 25, 7pm to 7.15pm

Bankstown: Bluey's Swim School. 14A/9-49 Chapel Rd. Saturday June 26, all day

Bossley Park: Club Marconi. 121-133 Prairie Vale Road. Friday June 25, 2.30pm to 8pm and Saturday June 26, 10.30am to 6pm.

Maroubra: Des Renford Swimming Pool. Cnr Jersey Road and Robey Street. Friday June 25, 10.45am to 12 noon.

 

Anyone who attended the following venues at the times listed is a casual contact and must immediately get tested and self-isolate until a negative result is received. 

Eastgardens: Tong Li Asian Grocery Westfield. Shop 179, 152 Bunnerong Road. Thursday June 24. 2.45pm to 3.30pm

Mascot: Domestic Terminal 2, Sydney Airport. Shiers Avenue. Saturday, June 26, 11am to 11.30am.

North Strathfield: Fitness First Commercial Building (Building C) Foyer Bakehouse Quarter, 3a George Lane. Friday June 25, 10.50am to 11.10am

Haymarket: Jarern Chai Grocer and Boon Café. 425 Pitt Street. Friday June 25, 2.45pm to 3.30pm

Dover Heights: Archie's Cafe 218 Military Road. Sunday June 27, 1.45pm to 2.15pm

Bondi: Porch and Parlour. 17/110 Ramsgate Avenue. Monday June 28, 7.50am to 8.10am

Of the new venues which have triggered most concern are Nieo's Grille in the inner west, Bluey's Swim School in the southwest, the Des Renford Swimming Pool at Maroubra and Club Marconi at Bossley Park.

Anyone who visited the Mediterranean restaurant in Earlwood on Friday June 25 between 7.00pm to 7.15pm is considered a close contact and must immediately get tested and self isolate for 14 days regardless of the result.

It is the same story for those who attended Bluey's Swim School in Bankstown, for anyone that was there on Saturday June 26 at anytime during that day. 

Staff and patrons who were at the Des Renford Pool's training pool or reception area between 10.45am and midday on Friday June 25 are considered close contacts and must immediately get tested and self isolate for 14 days.

All other patrons and staff who were at the pool (but not at the areas mentioned directly above) also need to get tested and isolate until they get a negative result.

Anyone who visited the main gaming area at Club Marconi on Friday June 25 between 2.30pm and 8pm, or the next day, Saturday June 26 between 10.30am and 6pm is also a close contact and must get tested and isolate for 14 days.

Club Marconi visitors who were elsewhere in the club must isolate and get tested if they were there on June 25 between 2pm and 8pm, or June 26 between 10.30am and 6pm. 

Other venues which were placed on alert include a busy Asian grocer in the eastern suburbs, a packed KFC in the western suburbs and a bustling gym, also in the west. 

Anyone who attended the Porch and Parlour cafe in Bondi on Monday June 28 between 7.50am to 8.10am is urged to immediately get tested and self isolate until they receive a negative result

Shoppers who attended the Tong Li Asian Grocery at Westfield in Eastgardens on Thursday June 24 between 2.45pm to 3.30pm is considered a casual contact and is urged to immediately get tested and self isolate until they receive a positive result. 

Anyone who attended KFC in Wetherill Park on Wednesday June 30 between 5.50pm to 6.10pm is also a casual contact.      

Several more public health alerts were issued late on Thursday were to North Strathfield Fitness First, Jarern Chai Grocer and Boon Café in Haymarket and the Porch and Palour cafe in Bondi.

NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian said this morning only half of the cases - which came from 59,941 tests in the 24 hours to 8pm on Wednesday night - were in self-isolation for the entire time they were infectious. 

She also announced additional mass Covid-19 vaccination hubs in Wollongong, Macquarie Fields in Sydney's south west and the Sydney CBD to fast-track the state's fledgling rollout of the jabs. 

Chief Health Officer Dr Kerry Chant said seven of the new infections overnight were mystery cases and still under investigation.

The latest outbreak in NSW has now ballooned to 195 infections. 

Two healthcare workers who worked at the Royal North Shore Hospital on Sydney's lower north shore have also tested positive to the virus.  

On Wednesday, health officials confirmed a 24-year-old unvaccinated student nurse had contracted Covid-19.

Contact tracers have already identified 100 staff and patients as close contacts of the student nurse.

The second employee worked at the Fairfield Hospital and the Royal Ryde Rehabilitation Hospital, but health officials said she did not work while infectious.  

Dr Chant said on Wednesday the wards where the first worker had worked from June 24 to June 28 have now been quarantined to quell any potential spread.

The wards include the cardiology and a general abdominal surgery ward at Royal North Shore Hospital and Fairfield Hospital's rehabilitation ward.

All three of those hospital departments are no longer admitting any new patients. 

Earlier on Wednesday night a list of more exposure sites were also added to the NSW Health website.
