'Aren't we lucky!' Gabby Logan celebrates 20th wedding anniversary with husband Kenny as she shares throwbacks from their big day and the moment he proposed

She married the former Scotland international rugby union player on July 19, 2001.

And on Tuesday, Gabby Logan, 48, celebrated her 20th wedding anniversary with husband Kenny, 49, as she took to Instagram to share throwbacks from their big day, and the moment he proposed.

The TV presenter gushed: 'Aren't we lucky' as she took a trip down memory lane in the social media upload.

Gabby also included sweet black-and-white snaps of herself and Kenny, including a more recent snap of them together on a hike.

Gabby and Kenny share 15-year-old twins Lois and Reuben, who were born following IVF treatment.

A former international gymnast, Gabby began her broadcasting career in radio in 1992 before joining Sky Sports in 1996 and ITV in 1998. She met Kenny a year later.

In Kenny's tell-all autobiography, Just For Kicks, he recalled the moment he laid eyes on his future wife vividly – and admitted it was love at first sight.

He revealed: 'It happened in the early hours of 24 January 1999. I was in the K Bar in Fulham with a few of the Wasps boys and in walked this blonde bombshell, who I recognised from the telly.

'She was with someone I knew, Tamsin from Sky Sports, so I sidled up to them and got myself an introduction.

'I was dumbstruck. Dumbstruck and incredibly excited.'

Kenny proposed just seven months later, in August 1999 and the couple tied the knot in 2001.

The pair both signed up to take part in the 2007 series of BBC1's hit ballroom competition Strictly Come Dancing.
