Twist in Suzi Taylor court case as the Penthouse Pet and The Block star awaits trial for allegedly bashing and robbing a Tinder date

Former Penthouse Pet and The Block star Suzi Taylor has been ordered to stay sober while on bail at her biological mother's house.

The 44-year-old reality star, whose full name is Suellen Jan Taylor, allegedly bashed and unlawfully detained 33-year-old man who she met on Tinder after a late-night rendezvous at her home in October, 2019.

She faces 107 charges including assault and extortion and is currently on bail staying with her mother and stepfather in rural Queensland.

Taylor's lawyer Michael Gatenby did not oppose the application and said his client would comply with the new no-alcohol condition, in addition to existing conditions.

The former reality star is required to wear a GPS tracking device, abide by a 24-hour curfew, see a mental health service and live in rural Queensland with her mother as part of her bail conditions.

Crown prosecutor Annica Fritz alleged Taylor has breached the 24-hour curfew.

Ms Fritz also said Taylor's mother has made statements that she did not want Taylor to stay with her anymore, which prompted the Crown application to revoke her bail.

Taylor's mother has reportedly changed her mind multiple times and now wants her daughter to live with her.

As a result of the mother's indecisiveness, Ms Fritz requested to adjourn the revocation of bail application, which was accepted by the judge.

Justice Boddice suggested a longer-term accomodation option for Taylor to be found.

It comes after Taylor was granted bail and released from Brisbane Women's Correctional Centre to live with her mother last month.

Taylor was adopted as a child and has only recently met her biological mother, who offered her a place to stay since she has been homeless in the past.

At the time, Taylor's lawyer argued her parents are no-nonsense country folk who would not allow her to misbehave.

Her mother said her daughter would abide by strict 'house rules' of no drugs or alcohol while she lived under her roof in an affidavit.
