Nightclubs, parties and FINALLY a return to stand-up drinking - New South Wales announces MAJOR easing of Covid-19  restrictions for festive season

Major changes to New South Wales' social distancing restrictions have been announced, allowing for a far more festive Christmas season.   

From Monday, nightclubs can reopen with up to 50 people allowed on the dance floor at any one time, Premier Gladys Berejiklian said. 

Maximum capacity caps will be removed at hospitality venues, places of worship, stadiums, theatres, these will be replaced by the two-square metre rule. 

Limits on the number of people allowed to gather outside will also be eased.
