Four in ten voters say Trump will go down as 'one of the worst presidents' in U.S. history as 58 per cent say they don't believe election was stolen

A poll released Saturday shows 42 per cent of registered voters think Donald Trump will go down in history as one of America's worst presidents of all time – as more than half say they don't believe the election was stolen.

Of the 1,007 respondents, the Fox News poll found only 22 per cent believe Trump will be remembered as one of the greatest presidents in U.S. history.

It also showed that 54 per cent of registered voters have an unfavorable view of Trump as he has just over a month left in office before Joe Biden is sworn in. And 55 per cent think the country is worse off now than it was four years ago.

The December 6-9 survey comes as Trump continues to blast the presidential election results, claiming on Twitter Sunday morning it was the 'MOST CORRUPT ELECTION IN U.S. HISTORY!'

When broken down by party, however, Republicans say Trump was robbed in the election with 68 per cent claiming it was stolen.

Fifty-six per cent say Trump's efforts to overturn the election has weakened democracy.

There are already talks that Trump is going to run for president again in 2024, but 57 per cent say they don't want to see that happen.

A report earlier this month said Trump has been talking about holding a rally in Florida the same day Biden takes the oath of office on January 20. The final Air Force One trip by Trump would likely be used as a show for him to announce his future plans.

The poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percentage points.

More than 5 in 10 registered voters say they disapprove of Trump's handling of the coronavirus pandemic, immigration and healthcare in general.

On the other hand, 52 per cent said they approve of Trump's handling of the economy during his four years where, before the pandemic hit, there were record low unemployment numbers.
