Christmas Eve plea from the police for help finding missing Birmingham schoolgirl, 13, who vanished without a trace five days ago

Police have launched a Christmas Eve appeal to find a missing schoolgirl who vanished without a trace five days ago.

Thirteen-year-old Charlotte Marriott has not been seen since she vanished from her Birmingham home on December 19.

The youngster has been described as having dyed hair that is light and dark in sections.

The teen - who was described as 5ft 6ins - has been missing before but not for so long.

Concerned officers issued a missing person appeal, along with a picture of Charlotte, in a desperate bid to find her.

A spokesman for West Midlands police said: 'Have you seen 13-year-old Charlotte Marriott?

'She has been missing from her home in Castle Vale since Saturday (19 Dec). 

'Charlotte has been missing before but never for this long and we are concerned for her safety.'

'Charlotte is 5ft 6ins tall with very long hair dyed light and dark in sections. If you have seen her or know where she is please contact us.'
