Bloom subsequently rented the property for an undisclosed amount, according to the listing agent Steve Farrell, OneRoof reported.
The house, located in Karaka Bay, is close to where legendary director Sir Peter Jackson shot The Hobbit movies as well as Lord of the Rings.
The 370sqm three-storey dwelling offers world class views of the harbour and also features a home cinema, spa, swimming pool and wine cellar.
Bloom and Kerr divorced in 2013, separating after three years of marriage.
'It was the right thing to do,' Kerr told Marie Claire when reflecting on the relationship. 'We weren't bringing out the best in each other.'
She found love again with Snapchat founder and billionaire Evan Spiegel. The couple married in 2017 and have two children.
Bloom is engaged to pop star Katy Perry, and last August they welcomed a daughter into the world.
