Raceday panic as TAB computers CRASH across Australia - leaving punters facing long delays on the final day of the Melbourne Cup carnival
TAB's computer system has crashed on the final day of the Melbourne Cup carnival leaving punters unable to place a bet.
The system went down at 11.30am on Saturday morning, causing delays at Rosehill Racecourse in Sydney.
Flemington, which is enjoying the final day of the Melbourne Cup was also temporarily impacted by the outage, which caused delays to races in Sydney.

The 2000m Seppelt Mackinnon Stakes has now been delayed to 5.45pm AEDT.
The company apologised to customers for impacting their day at the races.
'Tabcorp wishes to apologise to our customers, the racing industry, venues and other partners for the issues being experienced in the delivery of our products and services today,' Tabcorp's Managing Director and CEO, David Attenborough said to Daily Mail Australia in a statement.
'We appreciate the importance of today's race meetings, especially at Flemington and Rosehill Gardens, and are disappointed that we have been unable to give customers the experience the day deserves.
'We would like to acknowledge the support of our racing industry partners for continuing to help us to manage through the day, including those racing bodies who have been able to push back their race start times.'
The system was found to be down as Rosehill Race Course and Wyong at 11.30am on Saturday
The Victoria Racing Club said it was working with Racing Victoria to push back the impacted races.
The source of the outage remains unclear, but there is no suggestion the program had been hacked.
Punters at Rosehill Gardens were still able to place a bet due to an independent system.
