NRL star Dylan Walker is charged with assaulting two men outside of an Italian restaurant after strange takeaway dispute
A bizarre takeaway dispute has resulted in NRL star Dylan Walker being charged with allegedly assaulting two men outside an Italian restaurant.
The 26-year-old Manly Sea Eagles star was picking up some food from the restaurant in Narraweena, in Sydney's Northern Beaches, at about 9pm on Sunday night, police say.
They allege Walker tried to get into the car of an unknown woman with his food when a man approached him and the altercation was sparked.

A second man, associated with the restaurant, also became involved in the alleged argument with Walker.
'When confronted, the man allegedly became aggressive and was allegedly involved in a physical altercation, assaulting two men before fleeing,' police said.
At one point Walker reportedly retreated back inside the restaurant before the alleged altercation continued.
Walker was found by officers a short distance from the restaurant where he was arrested and transported to Manly Police Station.
He was charged with two counts of common assault and was granted bail to appear at Manly Local Court on November 18.
The Manly Sea Eagles have reportedly informed the NRL's Integrity Unit about the incident who are in discussions with police and the club.
NRL star Dylan Walker was in 2019 found not guilty of assaulting his partner
Walker was in 2019 cleared of accusations he had assaulted his partner Alexandra Ivkovic.
The former Miss Universe finalist suffered grazes to her shoulder, leg and feet after she fell on a concrete driveway - initially claiming Walker had pulled her ponytail hard enough to cause the fall.
She later retracted that statement, saying she recalled a different version of events after looking back - that Walker had reached out to grab her shoulder and her hair had gotten in the way.
He was found not guilty of that offence in May 2019.
