EXCLUSIVE: Disgraced Hillsong pastor Carl Lentz' wife Laura heads to a late-night tanning session in LA without her wedding ring as her husband waits in the parking lot on a tense phone call
Disgraced Hillsong pastor Carl Lentz escorted his wife Laura to a late-night tanning session in Los Angeles on Friday, exclusive pictures by DailyMail.com show.
The 42-year-old cleric, who was fired as the head of the celebrity-favorite megachurch's New York City branch earlier this month after admitting to an affair, kept a low profile with a black hoodie as he dropped Laura off at the spa.
Australia-born Laura, 40, appeared tired with bags under her eyes when she arrived for the appointment dressed in a loose light-pink tracksuit. She wore several gold rings on her fingers - but her wedding ring was notably missing.
Lentz stayed in the parking lot as his wife of 17 years and the mother of his three children stepped into a tanning booth. He wore a tense expression as he talked on the phone before Laura emerged and the pair headed home.
The couple are said to be undergoing intense therapy after their marriage was thrown into the spotlight a few weeks ago when Lentz announced he had been unfaithful.
It later emerged that Lentz, who was close friends with Justin Bieber and his wife Hailey, was having an affair with Brooklyn designer Ranin Karim, 34, who spilled details of their drunken nights together and how he told her that she was the best sex he'd ever had.
Lentz sold his family's home in Montclair, New Jersey, right before the scandal broke and has since been hunkering down at a $4.5million hideaway in Manhattan Beach. On Friday DailyMail.com revealed that Lentz signed a one-year, $16,000-per-month lease for the impressive pad.

Lentz and his wife left their children - 16-year-old Charlie, 14-year-old Ava and 11-year-old Roman - at home when they stepped out for the tanning appointment on Friday night.
Laura paired her matching slouchy sweatpants and sweatshirt with a black mask, gray designer cross-body purse and white sneakers as she went in for her tan.
Lentz also kept things casual, donning a graphic hoodie, gray shorts, white workout leggings and sneakers.
He paced around the parking lot with his phone glued to his ear while waiting for his wife.
Laura emerged from the salon a few minutes later with her hair tied up in a bun and a subtle glow worthy of the California beaches they now call home.

Sources told DailyMail.com that the Lentz family moved into their lavish Manhattan Beach rental last week.
The 4,500sqft property sits on a .14-acre lot and comes complete with five ensuite bedrooms – one of which is the 'owner's suite' that has a studio-sized closet.
As well as the huge closet, the suite has its own sitting room, a balcony with Pacific views and a his and hers bathroom with a two-person shower and 'an elegant soaking tub'.
The home also boasts a huge kitchen with a marble island and copper fittings and an indoor-outdoor dining area that looks out over the yard.
Lentz is thought to be funding the new rental from the sale of his home in New Jersey, which was sold for $1.5million 10 days before news of his exit from Hillsong was revealed.
Manhattan Beach is a small city on the southern edge of Los Angeles and one of its most exclusive zip codes where a typical home costs $2.5million.
As a result, Lentz has some famous new neighbors, among them tennis star Maria Sharapova, soccer player Mia Hamm and most of the LA Kings roster.
The priapic priest also has friends in the area in the shape of fellow pastors Chad Veach and Judah Smith, who live eight miles away in Ladera Heights and Playa Del Rey respectively.

Lentz and his family have been pictured getting to know their new home this week and were spotted enjoying dinner at a restaurant in downtown Manhattan Beach on Sunday night.
On Monday, a shirtless Lentz was seen meditating on the sand, while the whole family have been seen exploring the neighborhood on their e-bikes – in Lentz’ case, a deluxe $1,600 RadRover 5.
Exclusive DailyMail.com photos show Lentz taking his three children out for lunch on Wednesday, with the quartet seen enjoying a meal at Homie's – a hipster café known for its burritos.
He wore a long-sleeved shirt with the image of late LA rapper Nipsey Hussle screen printed on it. The musician was shot dead in March aged 33.
Family outings aside, Lentz has been keeping a low profile and has not spoken publicly about cheating on his wife beyond a social media post made two days after he was fired.
In it, he admitted his affair with Karim and described his exit from Hillsong as 'a hard ending to what has been the most amazing, impacting and special chapter of our lives'.
He also admitted to being 'unfaithful' to Laura and added: 'When you lead out of an empty place, you make choices that have real and painful consequences.
'I was unfaithful in my marriage, the most important relationship in my life, and held accountable for that.'
Laura, formerly a co-pastor at Hillsong, has not spoken publicly about her husband's infidelity but was photographed having a tense conversation with Lentz in New York, two days after it was revealed he had been fired.
The two are in 'intense counseling' as they are working to rebuild their marriage, a source told Page Six.
The friend added that Lentz 'never had any plans to leave his marriage' - even at the height of his affair with Karim.

His mistress, New York-based designer Ranin Karim, 34, later revealed excruciating details of their five-month fling, telling how he said she was the best sex he ever had and declaring herself in love with him
Although she joined the family for Sunday night's dinner, she did not accompany her husband and children on their other trips around Manhattan Beach but was seen going for a solo cycle on Wednesday afternoon.
The 40-year-old is understood to have been fired along with her husband, despite her long association with the church.
Sources told the Sun that her dismissal from her co-pastor role was 'the cherry on top' and left her 'devastated'.
The source added: 'If a married couple both work at the church and one of them is terminated, they both will be fired immediately.
'That was their reasoning for having to also get rid of Laura for Carl's mistakes.'
It has since been reported that Lentz' fling with Karim isn't the first time his 'womanizing' behavior has raised eyebrows.
According to Page Six, the churchman was dubbed a 'womanizing manwhore' and 'celebrity obsessed' by fellow guests at a post-Super Bowl party for J-Lo in Miami last year.
The source also accused Lentz and fellow pastor Rich Wilkerson Jr – of Miami-based Vous Church – of 'running around like inappropriate superfans' on the yacht where the bash was held.
The two pastors were also reportedly seen 'partying their a**es off' and 'acting really weird'.
Sources told DailyMail.com that the couple moved into the lavish pad late last week along with their three children: Charlie, 16, Ava, 14, and Roman
