Savvy shopper reveals her 'hack' for getting Woolworths Rewards points without spending a cent… only to be accused of STEALING
A savvy shopper has been slammed online after she admitted to using other people's discarded receipts to claim Woolworths Everyday Rewards points.
The woman took to Facebook to openly share her secret hack with other discount shoppers.
She said she often found receipts in unused trolleys while visiting the supermarket.
Rather than bin them the woman used the receipt number to claim points for her own Woolworths Rewards card.
Customers who forget to scan their Everyday Rewards cards at the supermarket can still make a claim online as long as they have the receipt number.

The savvy shopper said in one case she scored big from a discarded receipt.
'Who else see a receipt in trollys and adds the points to their account? the woman posted.
'I just added 700 points today... winner!!'
The Facebook post has been met with mixed emotion as some have called it cheating the system.
'I'd be embarrassed to post how I tried to rip off a system that others use fairly,' one person commented.
'You're gloating about cheating.'
Other shoppers were quick to step in and defend the woman.
'I didn't know you could do that,' one person said.
'I guess if you have the time, go for it.'

Another added: 'If they didn't scan their card and left the receipt behind, is that really considered stealing?'
Woolworths said in a statement it had protective measures in place to protect the 'integrity' of the system.
'We want all customers to enjoy our Woolworths Everyday Rewards program.
'Whilst we do allow retrospective points claims, we have a number of checks and balances in place to ensure the integrity of the system.'
