Moment homeless man, 31, is arrested by the police after he took a cop's gun and shot two officers and a man outside a train station in Argentina

A homeless man with a history of mental health illness could possibly have his leg amputated after he stole a police officer's gun and was shot three times by cops near a train station in Argentina.

A Buenos Aires city surveillance camera captured the frightening moment Jonathan Mosqueda aimed a cop's service weapon and fired at the cops before one of the agents rushed him and wrestled the gun away - but not before hitting two officers and a passerby.

According to Argentine newspaper Clarín, the 31-year-old man approached a police officer outside the San Martín train station in the town of Retiro approximately at 7:30am Tuesday and took his Bersa 9mm gun from the holster.

Mosqueda led the cop on a wild foot chase down Del Libertador Avenue as the agent called for backup.
