Moment Florida woman who was upset that she could not get a cash refund at Spectrum brought a CROWBAR into the store to pry open a register and take the money

A Florida woman who was furious after being denied a cash refund at a Spectrum store took matters - and a crowbar - into her own hands, resulting in her arrest this week.

Dahianna Serraty, of Deltona, was caught on surveillance video using the metal tool to break into two cash registers at the Spectrum store on Enterprise Road in Orange City on Tuesday afternoon.

The 34-year-old Serraty was later arrested on charges of robbery with a weapon, criminal mischief and petit theft.

Serraty, 34, took matters into her own hands after workers refused to give her a refund because the credit had already been applied to a past due account

Serraty is seen opened a cash drawer and removing a handful of banknotes 

According to police, the trouble started when Serraty arrived at the store looking to get a refund for a payment that she was not credited, reported ClickOrlando.

Staffers reportedly explained to the indignant customer that the credit had already been applied to a past due account that had since closed, and refused to issue her another refund.

Police said Serraty left and returned a second time asking for the refund, then left again.

Serraty left the store with the loot, but a worker managed the write down her license plate number, leading to her arrest 

Just after 12.20pm, an irate Serraty barged into the store a third time brandishing a crowbar, approached a cash register and pried it open, only to find it empty.

Serraty has been charged with robbery with a weapon, criminal mischief and petit theft 

While surveillance video from inside the Spectrum store lacks audio, Serraty was reported as yelling, 'Where’s my money? I’m getting my money' and 'I'm going to get my money one way or another.'

She then walked up to another register where a store worker was helping a customer, forced the people to get out of her way and used the crowbar to open the cash drawer, according to police.

Serraty grabbed a handful of banknotes from the register and left.

One of the workers was able to write down Serraty's licence plate number, which allowed police to track her down at her home and arrest her.

Serraty was being held on Wednesday at the Volusia County Jail on $10,000 bond.
