Cool Florida clerk stands her ground as crook puts gun to her face during gas station robbery as she tells him: 'You won't get too far!'
Florida deputies are searching for a suspect caught on camera threatening a convenience store worker at gunpoint during a robbery.
The clerk remains shockingly calm throughout the ordeal, barely even reacting when the armed figure fires a warning shot into the store.
The robbery happened at 10:50pm local time at the Shell Gas Station on Lithia Pinecrest Road in Valrico.
It was caught on the store's security camera and published by Breaking911.com.
The masked figure is seen armed and walking behind the counter during the robbery in security camera footage from the store
Early in the footage, the clerk is seen walking out of view of the camera towards the front of the store while a figure, wearing a hooded jacket, hat, sunglasses, gloves and a face mask enters.
The convenience store worker can be heard saying 'Hey, how're you?' as the figure walks towards her and out of shot.
The pair have a muffled, inaudible exchange before the figure, now holding a gun, reappears and walks behind the counter, followed by the clerk who has her arms slightly outstretched as if she can't quite believe what's happening.
The man rifles under the counter before telling the woman to open the register.
'I can't open the register,' she says, apparently explaining that another colleague also has the keys to the safe.
After meeting the robber at the front of the store, the clerk follows the figure behind the register to see what they are doing
Cool as a cucumber: The clerk watches the disguised figure raid the cash register after eventually getting it open
The armed figure and the clerk seem to stare blankly at the register for a moment before the suspect turns on the woman, raising the gun to her head.
She doesn't even flinch, calming raising her arms slightly when the burglar accuses her of lying.
'I'm not lying...I can't open it now...You can do whatever you want to me...I don't care what you gotta do to me,' she says defiantly as the figure repeatedly barks at her to open the safe 'now!'
At one point, the clerk even attempts to bat the gun away from her face before the figure eventually drops it only to raise the gun and shoot it into the store.
The unflappable clerk barely reacts as the pair then move towards the register.
The clerk keeps her cool throughout the robbery, making little or no attempt to distance herself from the assailant, who has threatened her at gunpoint
At the end of her ordeal, the convenience store worker cooly grabs a phone to call the police and heads towards the front of the store, perhaps trying to catch a glimpse of the burglar's vehicle
She seems to be standing just inches away from the figure as she loudly but calmly explains that she can't open the register, her voice seeming more annoying than frightened.
At this point, the figure loses their temper, repeatedly screaming 'Open it now!' in a husky voice.
The clerk scans an item as if to put a sale through and keeps her cool when the burglar shouts at her to 'hurry up!'.
Eventually, the drawer opens and the suspect makes off with its contents, telling the clerk to 'Have a good day'.
'Well don't go too far' the woman responds before picking up a phone and walking to the front of the store, perhaps hoping to catch a glimpse of her assailants vehicle before calling police.
