The shocking moment a tenant's ceiling collapses just two weeks after moving has been captured on video.
Perth man Joshua Alexander, 21, posted a clip of the ceiling collapse to TikTok on Monday, where it has since gone viral with more than three million views.
The video begins with a large crack around a ceiling fan, which quickly gets bigger before suddenly giving way, prompting shouts from Mr Alexander.
The right side of the ceiling collapsed, then the left side, leaving behind a cloud of dust and debris with the only the fan still left swinging from the ceiling.

After requests for context of the video, Mr Alexander posted another clip explaining exactly how the ceiling came to collapse.
'So I moved into the house two weeks before this happened. A big storm went through and then after that there was cracks in the ceiling. Like a little crack in the ceiling fan,' he said.
'So I took a photo of that one, sent it off to the landlord saying 'Deal with this, please'. Over the next day or so, it just got so much worse because the crack spread across the ceiling.
'It got to the point where I could just hear it was going to go so I cleared as much stuff as I could out of the room and then it collapsed three days before my 21st birthday.'
Mr Alexander said he moved into the house two weeks before the ceiling collapse. He said cracks began to appear after a storm, which only got bigger with time
Mr Alexander said the debris got cleared up and even inspired the theme of his birthday party, which was 'no ceiling'.
He said his ceiling fan was even replaced with a better, more modern version.
'The ceiling fan got ripped out and replaced. This one has a light in it and a remote,' Mr Alexander said.
'Pay me $20 and I'll make a sequel at my mum's house!'
