West Brom goalkeeper Ben Foster says Chelsea would be fools to sell Romelu Lukaku

Ben Foster has told Chelsea they would be 'fools' to allow Romelu Lukaku to leave Stamford Bridge next season.

West Brom's keeper admitted that the Baggies' chances of seeing the Belgium international at the Hawthorns again were non-existent as the loanee grabbed a second-half hat-trick against Manchester United.

It took his tally for the season to 17 which is a remarkable feat, given that he has been unable to nail down a first-team spot of his own.

That tally left him in sixth place in the goalscoring list and after the England international thanked Lukaku for his efforts, he claimed the chances of Chelsea allowing him out again were remote.

'There's no way he's coming back here next season,' he said, 'Chelsea would be fools to let him come back with the way their forward line is mis-firing.

'He is exactly what they need at the minute.
