Moment pig farmer runs up and flying kicks animal rights activist in the BACK after anti-meat mob storm into farm - as police arrest man over four assaults

A pig farmer has been arrested after performing a flying kick into the back of an animal rights activist in Yorkshire.

Video shared online shows the farmer take a run-up before jumping into the air to kick the protestor as he walks away with his back turned.

Some 50 members of the Meat the Victims group had stormed Willow Farm Products Ltd at Hall Green, Wakefield, on Saturday at around 5am.

It followed a six-month campaign to expose what they claimed to be 'disgusting and inhumane' conditions.

After kicking one of the protestors, the 51-second clip shows the farmer screaming: 'Get out! Get out!', while pointing to the exit.

He adds: 'Get out now, every single one of you, I don't give a f**k.'

The Yorkshireman points to the door and continues to tell the group to leave before appearing to punch the male protestor he had just kicked to the ground moments earlier.

The campaigners can be heard gasping in shock before screaming: 'Stop it...What are you doing?!'

They claim injured piglets at the farm were left to rot in their own excrement, and were subjected to brutal treatment and painful deaths.

The disturbing scenes were caught on camera in the early hours of July 31, where the furious farmer allegedly also screamed: 'I'm going to get a gun and shoot you all'.

As the group attempted to flee from the chaotic scenes, the farmer appears to point a metal bar at them while shouting 'wrong f**king farm'.

Meat the Victims describe itself as a nonviolent movement against unjust laws that conceal how animals are exploited and killed for human consumption.

West Yorkshire Police confirmed a man was arrested in connection with four incidents of alleged assault and released under investigation.

Robert Gordon, a spokesperson for Meat the Victims, said: 'I am proud of the protesters for remaining peaceful and calm in the face of such aggression.

'We came here to shed light on the horrific conditions and immense suffering that exist in farms like this up and down the country.

'Not only are these filthy facilities cruel to the animals, but they wreak havoc on the environment and provide the perfect breeding ground for zoonotic diseases with the potential to cause the next pandemic.'

It comes after a six-month investigation uncovered shocking footage revealing filthy and dry water troughs and dying piglets writhing in pain or having violent seizures.

The farm at Hall Green houses thousands of pigs and has been subject to hundreds of complaints from local residents regarding air pollution and foul odours.

They claim that they found animals with signs of disease and infection, and hundreds of pigs which were crowded into dark sheds and covered in their own excrement and urine.

In another shocking clip, a board is revealed which shows how many piglets were 'knocked' - a term which refers to when a piglet's head is smashed into the floor or wall until its death.

In just seven weeks, the farm allegedly killed 51 piglets in this way, while another 31 died from the squalid living conditions alone, according to the board.

Mr Gordon added: 'Far from being a one-off exception to the rule, Hall Green Farm is representative of the true conditions and animal abuse that occurs in this industry.

'This is the reality of where your bacon comes from.'

A man who was arrested at the farm following reports of an assault has been released under investigation, the force confirmed.

A police spokesperson said: 'Police were called to a farm at Hollingthorpe Lane, Hall Green, Wakefield, at around 5.15am on Saturday (31st July 2021) following reports of an assault.

'Officers attended at the address and found a number of people present nearby. Following enquiries a man was arrested on suspicion of four offences of assault.

'The arrested man was later released under investigation and enquiries remain ongoing.'

Willow Farm Products Ltd has been approached for a comment.
