A struggling Melbourne cleaner is $80million richer after winning Australia's third-biggest lottery prize in history.
The middle-aged father, who lost his job due to the Covid pandemic and had been working as a cleaner to make ends meet, won the Lotto jackpot.
The father, who has endured six lockdowns, held the only division one winning entry in Thursday's Powerball draw 1317.
'I am so excited. I checked my ticket late last night. I couldn't sleep after that!' the family man, who wished to remain anonymous, told The Lott.

'I lost my job during one of the many lockdowns here in Melbourne. We had only just bought a home and didn't see it coming.'
He had a one in 134 million chance to guess the correct numbers for the lotto draw.
Despite the incredible amount of money set to hit his bank account, the man remained extremely humble, stating that he just wanted to make life better for his family.
'I am certainly keen to pay off the mortgage and the other bills we have to begin with,' he stated.
'We're going to set our kids up for life. That will be an incredible thing to be able to do. There's so much we will be able to do with this prize. It will change so many people's lives!'
The winning entry was purchased online via OzLotteries.com, which is one of The Lott’s authorised resellers.
