A budding Aussie rock star who proudly performs weekly live concerts on his driveway wearing only his underwear has insisted a bizarre brush with the law may get him a date with a 'hot chick'.

Adelaide musician Savas Caruso, 32, refused to wear a mask to his hearing at Elizabeth Magistrates Court on August 17 and his case was adjourned.

He was charged with refusing to comply with an environmental protection order as well as allegedly not providing his name and address to police after being arrested.

Vision was captured of his arrest as police attempt to stop him from playing on his driveway, which has become a regular Sunday afternoon occurrence for baffled locals.

Police unplug his loud speaker system, before apprehending him mid-performance with his guitar pointed in the air.

In the video, Mr Caruso's brother was attempting to hand pieces of paper out to police.

According to a change.org petition set up by Mr Caruso, the papers were non-consent forms and notices of liability for damages made on private property during the arrest.

The page reads: 'An innocent member of the community was unlawfully arrested with unnecessary physical force, thrown in a cell and held against his will for 3 days by SAPOL.'

'They treated him like a dangerous criminal. All this for a non-indictable offense; a mere noise complaint.

'The video clearly shows they unjustifiably used a forceful approach. Their appalling display of authority was a clear tactic of intimidation to suppress the man’s rights to express himself using his music.' 

The page also continues to say on other occasions police has attended his concerts and 'praise him on his talent and give him credit'.

The budding rock star was was directed not to host any more concerts in the front-yard of his Salisbury Downs home due to noise complaints, according to Adelaide Now.

Mr Caruso allegedly played another concert, as he did every Sunday and was arrested on June 13 for breaching an environmental protection order.   

The musician, who has dubbed himself 'Subblet Hammer or Subb', was released after being held in custody for three days.

He then again allegedly took to his driveway the following Sunday, dressed in his finest underwear, to perform another concert and again was arrested by SA police.

Outside of court on Tuesday, Mr Caruso told reporters he would like to be called 'the Rock'n'Roll rebel' and that he was autistic and didn't want to put a mask on as he feared it would 'look stupid'.

'I'm hoping a few hot chicks will see I'm an able bodied man who can shred the guitar,' Mr Caruso said to reporters. 

'These people complaining just don't exist. They're jealous.

'I think they (the police) had the speed gun out and caught me doing 120 with my fingers in a residential zone and the thought 'we've got to book that guy'.  

Mr Caruso is set to appear in Magistrates Court in October.
