But the smile was soon wiped off Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield's faces later on This Morning when chef Gino D'Acampo made them a very eyebrow-raising proposal, betting them to present the show naked should England lose.

The Italian chef, 44, offered to cook in the nude and upside down should Italy lose, but the x-rated offer left Holly, 40,rather red-faced as she begged: 'Can we think of another option?'

The shock offer came as a giddy Holly and Phillip, 59, did a video link with a shirtless Gino to get his thoughts on England facing his home country in the final.

And after congratulating England on their win, Gino, who didn't mind who he supported, made things a bit cheeky as he proposed a bet for the duo to host the show naked if England lose.

He told Holly and Phil: 'Because you're English and I'm Italian, let's say if Italy wins next time I come to cook in September, you two are going to be naked.'

Nervous at Gino's words, Holly added: '…Or?'
