Deliveroo cyclist is caught riding along the outside line of a MOTORWAY after taking 'wrong road' to deliver takeaway food
A Deliveroo cyclist has been caught riding along the outside line of Scotland's busiest motorway after his delivery app took him on the 'wrong road'.
Railway worker Scott Inglis, 32, filmed the incident at 4.12pm on Saturday as the rider headed westbound near Junction 16 on the M8 in Glasgow.
The unidentified man was cycling in the third lane, coned off for roadworks, having crossed two live lanes on a 50mph section of the motorway.

In the clip the delivery rider can be seen battling the rain in a jacket and helmet with a bag that appears to be branded with the Deliveroo logo.
Scott, who is alongside colleague Fraser Boyce, shouts out: 'What are you doing? It's a motorway you are on - you're off your f***ing head. It's a motorway.'
Other motorists continue to speed past as the bewildered cyclist simply replies: 'Wrong road.'
Scott, seemingly taken slightly aback, cries out: 'Wrong road? Absolutely, f***ing maniac.'
He later shared the clip on social media alongside a caption that read: 'Wrong road? Think you could be right mate.'

The video has since been viewed 160,000 times, attracted 1,700 comments, 1,800 reactions and has been shared 3,500 times.
Speaking today Scott said: 'My colleague saw a man on a bicycle in his wing mirrors coming from Lane 1 to Lane 3 on the westbound M8 motorway just past George Square cut off - and I recorded the video.'
It is illegal for a cyclist to be on the motorway with the Highway Code listing bicycles as a prohibited vehicle.
Deliveroo has been contacted for comment.
