Sydney on alert as three entire shopping centres and 18 other venues are named as Covid exposure sites - here's if YOU need to get tested and isolate

A huge new list of Sydney Covid exposure sites has been revealed, including a second Bunnings, a Big W, Coles and three busy shopping centres.

NSW Health issued an alert on Wednesday night after contact tracers identified 21 new venues of concern as well as 11 public transport routes across the city.

The list includes three major malls, Zetland's East Village, and Auburn and Bankstown's Central Shopping Centres, two gyms, a popular café, and a pub.

Seven of the sites are considered Tier 1, meaning anyone who attended the venues at the times listed are a close contact and must immediately get tested and then isolate for 14 days regardless of the result.

The advice applies to those who visited the H&M store on King St in the CBD on 21 June, between 10.45am to 11.45am. 

In the inner west, Nieo's Grille, in Earlwood, was exposed on Friday 25 June, between 7.00pm to 7.15pm, while a positive case visited the Burwood Hotel that evening from 11.25pm to Saturday 26 June 1.30am. 

Meanwhile, anyone who attended eastern suburbs businesses Gusto Espresso Bar Café, in Bondi Junction on Friday 25 June, from 7.00am to 7.50am, or the UNSW Judo Club, at the Daceyville PCYC, on Wednesday 23 June, between 5.00pm to 8.00pm must also isolate for 14 days.

Other venues of concern include gyms Maroubra Fitness First, on Thursday 24 June between 8.40am to 9.10am, and Bankstown Crunch Fitness, on the same day, from 8.00pm to 9.45pm.

A further 14 venues have been listed as casual contact sites, with anyone who visited the sites during the times of concern urged to get tested immediately and isolate until a negative result is received. 

The advice applies to anyone who went to Zetland East Village Shopping Centre on Monday 21 June between 6.30pm to 7.30pm or Thursday 24 June from 6.10pm to 7.40pm.

While the alert includes the entire plaza, the Coles has also been listed as a particular site of concern on Thursday 24 June from 7.20pm to 7.40pm.

In Eastgardens, the Big W was attended by a casual contact on Wednesday 23 June from 11.30am to 11.40am, as was the nearby EB Games the following day from 2.45pm to 3.45pm.
