'Please don't make me do this': Cops plead with 'armed' suspect, 27, to 'put his hands up' - before shooting him dead after he disobeys their order
Police bodycam footage shows the moment Florida officers plead with a suspect 'to put your hands up' before he was shot dead after disobeying their order.
Dylan Ray Scott, 27, was killed Tuesday night in Riverview after telling law enforcement he had a gun in his car, police say. A later search found no weapon.
Hillsborough County Sheriff's Deputy Timothy Miskell repeatedly tells Scott to put his 'hands up' and 'show me your hands' in video released by police.
Officers are said to have spent four minutes asking for Scott, wanted on charges of grand theft and resisting arrest, to show his hands before opening fire.
He is said to have written a note saying he wanted to 'die via suicide by cop' earlier this year, according to his mother.

The clip begins with Scott driving away from deputies in a McDonald's parking lot before crashing into another vehicle. A female passenger is taken to safety by cops.
Sheriff Chad Chronister said Scott then told officers he had a gun. Scott can also be heard on the video saying what sounds like 'I got a pistol'.
One officer shouts: 'Does he have a gun?'. Miskell replies: 'He's got a gun.'
Officers then repeatedly tell Scott, who had previously been arrested for battery on a law enforcement officer, to raise his hands.
Miskell, shining a light on the suspect, says: 'C'mon, man. It's not worth it.'
Scott tells officers his gun is in his waistband.

Miskell adds: 'We do not take anything personally and I do not want to shoot you, but if you don't show me your hands, that's what's gonna happen. Put your hands up. Please don't make me do this.
'You are gonna die right there in that passenger seat if you don't show me your hands. 'The warrants that you have right now, you'll get a bond. But if you make a bad decision right now, it could cost your life.
'And I'm begging you to not make that choice. C'mon, man, please don't.'
Another officer calls out: 'You'll be out of jail tomorrow, man, just show us your hands.'
But as Scott appears to move suddenly in the car, officers open fire killing him.
The officers, which also includes Sgt. Michael Hannaford, Cpl. Steven Schneider and Deputy Devin Wooden, have since been put on leave as per protocol.
Eugene O'Donnell, a professor at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, told The New York Post: 'Especially in this unforgiving climate, officers like this just get unfairly branded, and even 10 years from now it will be used against them if they are ever again made to use deadly force.'

Sheriff Chronister said: 'These deputies did a textbook job of trying to get this suspect to surrender himself.
'They pleaded with him to show his hands, stopping short of begging him not to reach for the firearm he repeatedly said he had.
'There is no perfect outcome in situations like this, but I am thankful that none of our deputies were hurt and that we were able to keep innocent citizens on the roadway safe as this situation unfolded.'
