Lawyer 'accomplice' implicates Fotis Dulos and his ex-girlfriend Michelle Troconis in the murder of missing Connecticut mom in a bid to 'get himself a deal with prosecutors'
Fotis Dulos' former attorney turned alleged accomplice, Kent Mawhinney, has turned on him and his ex-girlfriend Michelle Troconis in jailhouse informant interview to try to reduce any punishment he may face.
Mawhinney is charged with conspiracy to commit murder, as has Troconis. They are the only two people still alive who are connected to the case.
It began in May 2019 when Jennifer Dulos, Fotis' estranged wife and the mother of his kids, vanished from her home in New Canaan, Connecticut.
He was later charged with murdering her in her home. Her body has never been found.

Mawhinney is said to have told police that Fotis Dulos and his then girlfriend Michelle Troconis told him 'what they planned to do' to Jennifer Dulos the night before she died. Fotis killed himself in January
Fotis killed himself last January 2020 after gassing himself in his car while out on bail.
Troconis and Mawhinney have always denied that they had any involvement in Jennifer's disappearance and before he died, Fotis denied having anything to do with it too.

But according to attorneys representing Troconis, Mawhinney has now changed his tune.
He is said to have given an interview to police in jail in August in which he described meeting with Fotis and Troconis the night before Jennifer vanished.
He allegedly described how they planned what they were going to the next day.
Mawhinney was later released on bond.
Troconis' attorneys told The Stamford Advocate that they wanted to cross-examine Mawhinney.
They are dubious about his claims and say he is motivated only by cutting a deal with prosecutors.
According to prosecutors, Mawhinney consulted with Fotis about how to kill his wife and then discard her body.
There was a suspicious grave-like hole found dug near a gun club that Mawhinney was a member of.
He too was in the process of divorcing his wife when Jennifer disappeared.
Police believe Fotis killed Jennifer in a rage in her garage then disposed of her body.
The pair were in the midst of a bitter divorce and custody battle. They had give children together.
He also owed money to her family.
Troconis at first denied having anything to do with Jennifer's disappearance.
She maintains that she was not involved but, earlier this year, admitted to police that she lied when she gave Fotis an alibi for the day she vanished.
