Spectacular mansion where Salim Mehajer's sister got married in extravagant ceremony complete with a fleet of supercars and 20 drummers sells for $7.2million
The mansion where the sister of disgraced developer Salim Mehajer got married in an extravagant wedding has sold for $7.2million.
Khadijeh 'Kat' Mehajer memorably hosted a spectacular reception ceremony in 2016 at the Longuevue Mansion in Kenthurst, northwest Sydney.
The luxurious property is designed to mimic the plantation homestead from Gone with the Wind as has also been used in reality TV shows including My Kitchen Rules and The Bachelorette.
The five acre, 2,000sqm property beat the suburb's previous sale record of $6.66million by selling at auction this week.

The property's listing also boasts the home has a full-size tennis court, 'giant proportions' throughout, a gym, theatre room and indoor spa room.
'It includes an abundance of formal and informal living space even including a ball room,' the listing reads.

Ms Mehajer's $1million wedding to IT engineer Ibrahim Sakalaki had hundreds of guests gather at the prestigious venue - with her former Auburn deputy mayor brother wearing a $10,000 gown dripping with jewels.

At one point, Mr Sakalaki emerged from a white Ferrari to meet his bride at the top of a magnificent white staircase under a huge chandelier.

After the ceremony surrounded by the more than 100 guests, the party broke out into joyous dancing
The procession to the ceremony included a fleet of at least six white Lamborghinis, a black Range Rover and a silver Shelby GT500, all decked out with wedding ribbons.
An escort of at least five bikes were also involved, according to a photo posted by hire company Last Kings Bike Escorts.
Salim Mehajer came to national attention in 2015 after he illegally shut down a western Sydney street for his extravagant wedding.
In 2018, he was jailed after being found guilty of 77 counts of electoral fraud and was released after 11 months.
Earlier that year, the property developer was declared bankrupt with a long line of creditors, including ACE Demolition which was owed $6.2 million.

He was also found to owe $743,000 to BMW and $100,000 to Mercedes Benz for the loss incurred on the sale of a repossessed car.
This month, he learned he will spend Christmas in jail after his bail was revoked ahead of a sentence hearing for perverting the course of justice.
The 34-year-old was found guilty at a judge-alone trial in October and on Friday faced a detention application in the NSW District Court.
Judge Peter Zahra refused bail and set his sentence hearing down for February 12.
