But Jason Momoa has revealed that things weren't always so rosy for the 41-year-old and his family, even after his breakout success on HBO's biggest TV hit.
'I mean, we were starving after Game of Thrones,' the See actor told InStyle on Tuesday.

Momoa is married to Lisa Bonet, 52, and the couple share daughter Lola Iolani, 13, and son Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha, 11.
But things looked bleak for the family-of-four after Jason's GoT character Khal Drogo was killed off in 2011, before the fantasy series became a bona fide hit for the cable network.
'I couldn’t get work. It’s very challenging when you have babies and you’re completely in debt,' admitted Jason.

Momoa's next lead role came in his own movie, Road to Paloma, which was written and directed by the star in 2014.
Then, after starring in short-lived TV series The Red Road, the father-of-two's biggest break came when he was cast in the highly sought-after role of Arthur Curry in Aquaman.
The DC superhero film grossed over $1.1billion at the worldwide box office, making Momoa one of the hottest actors working today.
He'll next be seen in the Denis Villeneuve film Dune, with an Aquaman sequel expected in 2022.

Momoa took to social media in September and shared about how he and a friend were stranded after their van broke down during a trip through the desert.
The Justice League star posted several video clips, including one captioned '110 broke down', as he sat on the side of the road waiting for a tow with cars and trucks speeding by.
And The Mindy Project actress Fortune Feimster was one of the people who happened to be driving by, and she gave the blow-by-blow details during her appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show.

She then when into detail and added, 'And I see this super-buff dude, he's got a man-bun, he's shirtless, and he has these crazy black-and-white striped pants on. I'm like, "Did some hot guy escape from prison? What's happening?"'
While she didn't see his face, just moments later, she did have a hunch it could be the superhero actor.
'I turned to my partner now-wife Jacquelyn and I'm like, "Man-bun, shirtless, ripped, crazy pants… I think that was Jason Momoa,"'she shared.

'But, like, what am I gonna do for Jason Momoa? Like, spit in his gas tank and make his van start? I can't help him out,' she joked as Clarkson continued laughing.

Feimster explained how the NBC news magazine played a pivotal role in their romance after the show helped them get rid of some early relationship jitters.
'It was early on in our relationship and as women tend to do we watch Dateline together,' the North Carolina native joked.
