Troubled former Penthouse Pet Suzi Taylor has been found guilty of a minor assault but has not been punished
Troubled former Penthouse Pet Suzi Taylor has been found guilty of a minor assault, but has not been punished as she was 'stitched up' to elicit a reaction out of her while a camera crew filmed.
Taylor, who was once a contestant on The Block, was accused of knocking a phone from Brisbane removalist Thelma Anderson's hand and pushing her during an altercation at the Gambaro Hotel.
The 48-year-old has been behind bars since the altercation in January and was charged with common assault and stealing.
Magistrate Rosemary Gilbert found Taylor guilty to the assault charge on Friday, but cleared her of stealing the phone, The Courier Mail reported.
'My concern is, it is clear that Ms Anderson set up the meeting for the purpose of there being filming,' Ms Gilbert told Brisbane Magistrates Court.
'It would be, I think, churlish of me to take the view that what flowed from there would be not unexpected.'
Taylor's lawyers last week shared explosive footage of Ms Anderson taunting the 48-year-old and pushing her prior to the argument.

Brisbane Magistrates Court heard Ms Anderson arrived at Gambaro Hotel, where she had planned to meet Taylor to give her money that was owed to her for removal or storage fees.
But on arrival, witnesses claim Ms Anderson taunted Taylor while a camera crew from Channel Nine filmed the altercation.
A former hotel employee said he heard Ms Anderson say: 'You're that fucking c**t off The Block... look at you, you think you're so good but you're just a filthy sl*t.'
Prior to the cross examination, Ms Anderson had insisted she wasn't aware of Taylor's past reality TV experience.
Under further questioning, she conceded that it was possible she swore at Taylor during the argument and admitted she was 'untruthful' in stating she didn't know who the reality star was.

But Ms Anderson denied she was working with a Channel Nine crew who were filming the altercation.
She suggested they were there to film her or a commercial in the area.
Taylor's lawyer, Michael Gatenby, told the court it was clear his client was distressed about being filmed, and repeatedly asked the cameraman to stop her.
He said Ms Anderson 'kicked a woman while she was down'.
Nine cameraman David Gibbs gave evidence that debunked Ms Anderson's claims, arguing that she had in fact been in contact with a male reporter from the network.
Ms Gilbert found that Ms Anderson's behaviour did prove Taylor had been defending herself.
Taylor was given no penalty for the offence despite being found guilty.
