Cheryl Cole and Tre Holloway mark the end of her debut solo tour at Newcastle party

She took on 10 cities during her two-week debut solo tour, A Million Lights.

But what better location for Cheryl Cole to wrap up the tour than her hometown of Newcastle.

The 29-year-old singer marked the end of A Million Lights as she celebrated with boyfriend Tre Holloway with a huge party in the city.

Cheryl showed off the results of her daily energetic concerts as she displayed her slimmer-than-ever frame in an unusual dress, consisting of a quilted leather top and tartan skirt.

She teamed the outfit with a pair of nude heels, and left her brown hair loose in tumbling curls for the occasion.

Dancer Tre, meanwhile, who has been absent from the stage for the last few gigs of the tour due to a knee injury, co-ordinated well with his girlfriend in a pair of tan chino trousers, blue shirt and khaki bowtie.

The pair were spotted holding hands in the back of the car as they made their way to the party, with Tre looking at his girlfriend adoringly.

Cheryl then took the head as she headed out of the vehicle, holding the door open for her injured beau to ensure he got out of the car safely.

As the pair headed in to the Livello nightclub, Cheryl took the time to meet the fans who had been waiting for hours in the hope of catching a glimpse of their idol.

The pair were later seen heading out of the club after calling it a night, with a bodyguard on hand to ensure Cheryl didn't get soaked by the torrential rain.

The Girls Aloud star certainly appeared to have enjoyed the evening out, and had even tied her hair up while inside the party.

Cheryl's tour marks one of the first times she has taken American beau Tre back to her hometown, and she had reportedly organised a tour of Newcastle to show him exactly where she grew up.

A source said recently: 'Cheryl and Tre are getting really serious now. She wants him to see where she went to school and the places she used to hang about.

'She’s planned a no-frills few days to give Tre an idea of what it was like when she was young.'

Cheryl has received mainly positive reviews for her Million Lights Tour, with many claiming that the singer was 'in her element' as she ended the tour in Newcastle.

At the beginning of the concert, Cheryl told her excited fans: 'Newcastle, I am so happy to be here. This is the day I’ve been waiting for the whole tour. Geordies – let’s show them how to party!'

The Sunderland Echo review of the concert read: 'It’s standard procedure for popstars to wax lyrical on stage about how delighted they are to be there, but Cheryl seemed genuinely humbled to be performing at her home arena in her own tour, something she says she dreamt of as a child.'

And the Newcastle Evening Chronicle added: 'There was no way she was going to fail back home and her fans lapped up the show for the most part.

As well as friends and family in the audience, Cheryl was even watched by a few fellow famous Geordies - stars of the hit MTV reality show Geordie Shore Charlotte and Sophie.

The pair had earlier tweeted their desire to meet Cheryl, who has previously admitted to being a fan of the show, and the backstage meet was eventually organised with Cheryl's Girls Aloud bandmate Nicola Roberts.

Nicola tweeted the duo later on: 'Girls I've told her, sorted it for you!! She's excited!! Xx'
