Charlotte Church shows off her body confidence in low-cut dress... and it's all thanks to boyfriend Jonathan Powell

She's been known for her yo-yo weight, having gone from a size 6 to a size 14 over the past few years.

However, Charlotte Church has now embraced her curvier figure, and it's all down to her boyfriend Jonathan Powell.

The Welsh singer, who is currently touring her new indie material in the United States, was spotted showing off her figure in a low-cut dress in West Hollywood recently.

The former classical singer, 27, was spotted chatting on her mobile as she arrived ahead of her gig at the Troubadour club in West Hollywood last week.

Ahead of the gig, she tweeted: 'Rocking out in LA! About to head down to the Troubadour for tonight's show.'

The mother-of-two is now believed to be a size 12 and is completely comfortable with her figure thanks to her supportive boyfriend Jonathan.

A source told Closer magazine: 'Charlotte's feeling more confident than ever.

'Jonny's constantly telling her how beautiful she is and how he finds her curves sexy.

'Her weight has yo-yoed in the past, but now she's embracing being a size 12 and never felt sexier.'

The mother-of-two went up to a size 14 in 2009 after having her children Ruby and Dexter, but went down to a size 6-8 following her split from their father, ex-fiance Gavin Henson.

In an interview in 2010, she said: 'Generally, for me, slimness comes with a little bit of upset or stress.

'Whereas when I’m happy I tend to get a little bit bigger. Which is fine. I’d rather be fat and happy, to be honest.'

Charlotte and Jonathan, who plays in her band, started dating in June 2010 - just two months after she split from Gavin.

The singer and rugby player Gavin got engaged in February 2010, but secretly split two months later, only announcing the end of their five year relationship six weeks later.

Charlotte is currently promoting her new album One and Two - a compilation of her two EPs.
