Duggar Burger Bill: Jim Bob And Family Spend $614 At NYC

According to TMZ, Jim Bob Duggar, his wife Michelle and 21 other family members tucked into a feast at Bill's Bar & Burger in Manhattan on Monday, spending a whopping $614 for the meal. (Though that works out to about $26 per person, the celebrity news website notes that a number of the Duggar kids qualified for the $7.95 kids meal.)
Earlier on Monday, Jim Bob and Michelle's son Josh had announced on NBC's "Today" that he and his wife are expecting their third child. So perhaps the NYC burger fiesta marked a celebratory moment for the stars of TLC's "19 Kids and Counting."
"It is very exciting," the dad-to-be told People Magazine. "It's fun for Michael and Mackynzie being so close in age and this baby will be, too. We feel very blessed and happy." Michael was born in June 2011 and Mackynzie in October 2009.
Josh, 25, is the eldest child of Jim Bob and Michelle, who have 19 kids in total. Their youngest, Josie, turned three in December.
According a recent post on the family's blog, the first of the three-part "Duggars Do Asia" special of "19 and Counting" premieres on Tuesday at 9p.m. EST on TLC. The new episodes are said to chronicle the Arkansas family's 2012 adventures in Japan and China.
