Now, with Cuomo having resigned from the post following a report that he had sexually harassed 11 women, Nixon couldn't resist poking fun at his downfall.
In a tweet on Tuesday, she penned: 'The difference between me and Andrew Cuomo? Neither of us is governor, but I still have my Emmy.'

The allegations against Cuomo started in December 2020, covering a range of sexual misconduct behavior, which Cuomo denied.

New York Attorney General Letitia James hired an independent law firm to investigate the claims in February 2021, with the investigation complete in August.
The investigation found that Cuomo sexually harassed 11 women during his time in office, which lead to pressure from multiple places - including President Biden - to resign, which he did on August 10.
The resignation would take effect in 14 days, and when Cuomo left office on Tuesday, it coincided with the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences announcing they're rescinding Cuomo's special Emmy.
'The International Academy announced today that in light of the New York Attorney General’s report, and Andrew Cuomo’s subsequent resignation as Governor, it is rescinding his special 2020 International Emmy Award,' the statement began.
'His name and any reference to his receiving the award will be eliminated from International Academy materials going forward,' the statement concluded.
