Woman tells cops she 'let God take the wheel as a test of her faith' during 120MPH crash into two cars and a house with her 11-year-old daughter in the vehicle
A woman told police officers she was letting 'God take the wheel' as a test of her faith as she drove at 120mph last month, eventually crashing into two other cars, knocking down power lines and smashing into a house with her 11-year-old daughter in the car.
Traffic cameras caught the moment the woman sped through a red light at 120 mph as she headed south at a four-way intersection, where she slammed into a red car traveling west on June 15 shortly before midnight.
Parts of the hood and glass could be seen flying off the red car as the driver continued to speed by, but police told 19 News the driver was uninjured.

The 31-year-old Parma driver, who has not been named, reportedly lost control of her car, which eventually crashed into a utility pole and another vehicle in the driveway of a Beachwood home, ultimately striking the house itself, according to News 10.
No one was inside the home, police said, and the house only appeared to have suffered cosmetic damage.
Police told 19 News the woman only stopped her joy ride after colliding with the house, and told them that she had intentionally drove through the red light 'to test her faith with God.'

She reportedly said she had been going through 'trials and tribulations,' having been recently fired from her job, so she decided to 'let go and let God take the wheel.'
She believed she had done the right thing, News 10 reports, even though her 11-year-old daughter, who was sitting in the passenger seat, was taken to a local hospital with head injuries.
Police reportedly asked the woman if she had been drinking or did any drugs, to which she replied that she had one glass of wine nearly seven hours earlier.
Officers then began to suspect she suffered a mental health crisis, and had her taken to a local hospital, where they did not detect any signs of drugs of alcohol, according to Illinois News Today.

Prosecutors are expected to present the case to a grand jury this week. She could face charges including felony assault, endangering a child, reckless operation and driving under suspension.
