Kanye West's VERY minimalist digs: Rapper shares a glimpse of his cell-like room in Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Stadium while finishing album Donda

Kanye West has shared a glimpse of his Spartan living quarters in Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Stadium, revealing that the billionaire is living in an austere, windowless room as he completes his album.

The eccentric rapper has refused to leave the stadium, home to the Atlanta Falcons, until he completes his Donda album, a version of which was revealed at an album drop party there last week.

West on Tuesday posted a photo on Instagram, uncaptioned, which presumably shows the room where he is living in the stadium.

A twin mattress sits on the floor alongside a pair of barbells and an open suitcase, while a few items of clothing hang in a wardrobe.

West, whose net worth is estimated at $1.8 billion, owns a staggering real estate portfolio, including a $2.2 million bachelor pad in Los Angeles and $14 million Wyoming ranch where he has been spending time recently.

Currently, his estranged wife Kim Kardashian is staying in the couple's $60 million Hidden Hills mega-mansion with their children as they finalize their divorce.

Reports first emerged that West was staying in the 71,000-capacity stadium over the weekend, after he shocked fans on Thursday by revealing that Donda was not complete.

He is now reportedly renting living and studio space within the stadium, and has brought in his own chef to prepare meals.

West negotiated an agreement to remain at the stadium for at least two weeks, according to WGCL-TV.

Heather Sautter, the stadium’s director of corporate and marketing communications, told the news station there have been no major issues with West staying in the facility.

'Officials did have to come up with a workaround for West with this past Saturday’s Atlanta United game,' she said.

At the MLS game, West was seen wandering through the stands wearing the same outfit he'd worn at Friday's listening party, including a mesh face mask.

In the picture shared on Wednesday, the room he appears to be living in had bare walls aside from a digital clock display and a wall-mounted TV near the ceiling.

The room was outfitted with a simple single mattress with a white comforter and a black storage case next to it with a glass and a bottle of water on it.

Although Kanye has proven himself to be a fan of minimalist design when it comes to his clothing label, the small room is presumably a significant departure from how the billionaire has been accustomed to living in recent years.

The makeshift room isn't normally a bedroom, and Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Stadium doesn't have the ultra-luxurious suites or hotel rooms that some large stadiums feature.

It's unclear where in the stadium Kanye's living quarters are located, and an insider told Page Six that 'He’s in a private space inside the building.'

The stadium's Instagram account shared a photo of the red plaque by the room, which reads 'Donda Studio at Mercedes-Benz Stadium' and has an image that is reportedly the cover for the album in the upper right corner.

'#DONDA in progress,' the photo was captioned.

However, the stadium's account appears to have deleted the photo sometime afterward.

TMZ reported on Saturday that Kanye had decided to move into the stadium to finish up work on his latest album shortly after sharing what appeared to be a nearly finished version with a massive audience.

In addition to his small room, the Monster rapper has a personal chef preparing his meals, and there's also a makeshift studio that has been set up to complete work on Donda.

Fans even spotted him wandering around the stadium on Saturday during an Atlanta United soccer match, wearing what appeared to be the same red puffer jacket and pantyhose-like mask that he wore to his listening party, which surely made him stick out among the crowd.

Kanye was apparently so moved by his fans' support at the listening party that he wanted to stay in the stadium to put the finishing touches on his album.

However, it's not known if the rapper is simply working on mixing and mastering, or if he's creating new songs that weren't played at his event.

He's no stranger to last-minute tinkering. Two weeks before releasing his 2013 album Yeezus, Kanye brought in superproducer Rick Rubin to help strip away some of the music for a more minimalist, abrasive sound.

With his 2016 album The Life Of Pablo, Kanye's tinkering extended even past the official release date.

That album also had a massive listening party, this time at Madison Square Garden, but it wasn't ready for release until a few days later.

But Kanye adjusted the mixes, changed and added verses and even put a whole new song at the end of the album for weeks afterward, before seemingly letting it stick.
