Jennifer Garner looked unbothered by an enduring summer storm in New York City on Wednesday afternoon.
The 49-year-old Alias actress stepped out sans-umbrella as she headed to lunch with a pal wearing the city's signature shade.
The sighting comes amid reports that she is 'happy' for ex Ben Affleck and his new-old flame Jennifer Lopez, who spent the weekend less than 100 miles away from Garner in The Hamptons.

Garner looked laid back in a monochromatic ensemble that included high waisted cargo pants and a simple black T-shirt.
She slung a black messenger bag over her body and tackled the rain in a pair of black and white sneakers after exiting a black SUV.
Despite feeling no need to shield her brunette locks with an umbrella, she was greeted by a friendly restaurant attendant who tucked her underneath his before she headed inside.
On July 6, ET reported that the 13 Going On 30 actress was 'happy' for her ex-husband Affleck, 48, amid his rekindled romance with Lopez, 51.

He and the Hustlers star had enjoyed a festive weekend at her house in Water Mill, and the source reported that she 'wanted Ben to experience' the area she's 'always loved,' by her side.

And earlier Wednesday an Us Weekly report claimed that the formerly engaged pair are 'committed' to 'spending the rest of their lives together,' after realizing they've found 'true love.'
'They're well aware some cynics still look at it as a big flashy attention grab and roll their eyes at the speed of it all, but it doesn't faze them one iota,' the insider said.
'They're fully committed to taking the next steps and spending the rest of their lives together...As far as they're both concerned, they're just blessed to have found each other and discovered true love, which most people can only ever dream about.'
