Young mum on her P-plates, 20, is pulled over by cops for 'speeding 147 km/hr while high on drugs' with her two kids in the car
A young mother has allegedly been clocked driving 147 km/h on a busy highway with drugs in her system while her two children were in the car.
New South Wales Police allege the 20-year-old P-plate driver was travelling 65 km/h over the speed limit on the Princes Highway at Waterfall in Sydney's south at about 9.35am on Monday.
The Sutherland Shire Highway Patrol had a roadside speed trap set up to enforce the 80 km/h limit.

When officers registered the dangerously high speed allegedly being driven by the woman in the Mitsubishi SUV, they directed her to stop immediately.
'Her two children, aged four and two, were in the vehicle at the time,' police said in a statement.
Police then administered a roadside drug test which returned a positive result.
The Busby woman was arrested at the scene and taken to Sutherland Police Station for further testing.
Police have not announced what illegal substance the woman allegedly tested positive for.
She has been issued with a traffic infringement notice for exceeding speed by more than 45km/h and her licence was automatically suspended on the spot for six months.
It is expected that further charges will be laid pending the outcome of laboratory drug tests.
A child-at-risk notification has been made by police.
