Build that wall (of palm trees)! Workers plant MORE trees on the border of Trump's West Palm Beach golf course to make it harder for people to see inside

Donald Trump is spending his first days since leaving the White House focusing on building a border wall - not the wall between Mexico and the US but a wall of palm trees around his West Palm Beach golf course.

Workers were seen planting huge trees along the edge of the Trump International Golf Club in Florida Friday to block the view of the course from unwanted eyes.

Trump, who has never been one to shy from attention, appears to be want some privacy as he starts his new life with a full-time move back to his Mar-a-Lago estate.

The tree-planting comes just one day after a CNN cameraman shot footage of the former president, who now faces an impeachment trial, enjoying a spot of golf on the Florida course while still sporting a red 'MAGA hat'.

A group of workmen used diggers and spades to dig deep holes in the earth to make way for the soaring palm trees around the golf course Friday.

The trees were then seen being planted in the earth before the men filled in the earth around the roots.

A sign was also erected by the newly planted trees that read 'Warning! No trespassing'.

The warning sign said it was issued by Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office and labeled the area as belonging to the Trump International Golf Club.

The quest for privacy comes after Trump was spotted playing golf on the course Thursday - his first full day since he left office and became a private citizen.

He sported a white polo shirt, dark trousers and his signature red 'Make America Great Again' hat - in a sign that he perhaps wasn't quite ready to let go of his White House dream just yet.
